Grand Junction Food Tours was founded by two educators with a passion for people, world travel, and food. Tyler and Rebecca Jones spend their time teaching and traveling the world. What better way to combine their two passions than with a project that combines great company, education, and delectable cuisine?
After living and working in the Grand Valley for nearly a decade, Tyler and Rebecca realized that the area they'd come to love had a rich history that few visitors to the Western Slope were aware of. They also continually heard a complaint from visitors to the Grand Valley - there are so many great places to eat, and so little time to try them all! And this is where the idea for Grand Junction Food Tours was born. By experiencing a sampling of some of downtown Grand Junction's favorite dishes at a variety of restaurants, all while learning about the rich local history, guests and locals alike get to enjoy a week's worth of entertainment all wrapped up into one affordable evening.
